      The personal data collected by Pixomea are those provided voluntarily through the platform’s forms. These include, at a minimum, a valid email address, a password, and any information required for licensing, subscriptions, or billing (such as company name, billing address, and VAT number).

      Technical data are collected automatically when you use the services. These may include your IP address, browser type, operating system, device information, session identifiers, and connection timestamps. Such data are used for security, fraud prevention, service optimization, and system monitoring.

      Project data are collected when you submit jobs. These may include source project files, configuration data, rendered outputs (frames, images, animations), thumbnails, logs, and related job history. This data is processed solely for the execution of the requested tasks and within the limits of your selected plan.

      Business and VAT verification
      For Pro plans and billing purposes, Pixomea may verify company information, including VAT registration numbers and business identifiers, using official or third-party databases. These checks are performed exclusively to comply with applicable tax regulations (such as EU VAT rules) and to issue compliant invoices. Verification results may be retained for auditing and compliance purposes.

      Cookies and tracking
      Pixomea uses cookies to provide authentication, maintain sessions, store user preferences, and secure access to accounts. Cookies may also be used for analytics and service improvement. Users can manage or disable cookies through their browser settings; however, certain features of the platform may become unavailable.

      Some cookies may be set by third-party service providers (such as payment processors, hosting providers, or analytics tools) and are subject to their respective policies.

      Use of collected data
      Collected data are used to:
      - provide access to Pixomea services;
      - process and manage rendering jobs and associated files;
      - ensure platform security, fraud detection, and quota enforcement;
      - enable account management, billing, subscriptions, and team features;
      - verify company and VAT information for compliance and invoicing;
      - improve, maintain, and personalize the user experience.

      Data retention
      Pixomea retains personal, technical, and project data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above, subject to storage limits and applicable legal requirements. Rendered files, logs, and temporary assets may be deleted after completion or after a defined retention period. Users are responsible for downloading and backing up their own data.

      Data accuracy
      Users are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the data they provide. Pixomea cannot be held liable for consequences arising from incorrect, incomplete, or fraudulent information submitted by users.
  • CONFIDENTIALITY
    • Pixomea undertakes to treat all personal, technical, and project data as strictly confidential. Access to such data is limited to authorized personnel only and is governed by contractual and legal confidentiality obligations.

      Disclosure to third parties
      Data will not be disclosed, transferred, or made accessible to third parties except in the following limited circumstances:
      - where disclosure is required by applicable law, regulation, court order, or by a competent governmental authority;
      - where disclosure is strictly necessary to provide the services (e.g. cloud hosting providers such as Amazon Web Services, payment processors, subcontracted render nodes, or support providers), in which case such partners are bound by equivalent confidentiality and security obligations;
      - where the user has given explicit prior consent.

      No commercial use of data
      Pixomea will never sell, rent, trade, or otherwise exploit user data (including personal details, projects, renders, logs, or contact information) for marketing or commercial purposes outside the scope of the services. Contact information will only be used for essential service communication, account management, billing, security alerts, and operational updates.

      User rights
      Users have the right to access, correct, download, or request deletion of their personal data, in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Requests must be submitted with reasonable notice and proof of identity. Pixomea will respond within legally required timeframes.

      Security obligations
      Pixomea implements technical and organizational measures designed to protect data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. While all reasonable precautions are taken, no system can guarantee absolute security, and users acknowledge that residual risk may exist.

      Data retention
      Data is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the services, comply with legal obligations, enforce agreements, or resolve disputes. Once retention periods expire, data is securely deleted or anonymized.

      User responsibility
      Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their own credentials (such as passwords, API keys, and access tokens). Pixomea cannot be held liable for unauthorized access resulting from compromised or improperly managed credentials.
